Emera Maine Announces Planned Power Outage For Bar Harbor Area

Your TV may turn off on it's own a little after 12 noon in the following area, and no, it won't mean that the end is near.

Emera Maine has announced a planned power interruption in Bar Harbor for this coming Monday, May 23rd, beginning at 12 noon and continuing for approximately 1.5 hours.

The outage will affect the following areas:  Great Meadow Drive, Strawberry Hill Road, Strawberry Ledge Drive, Shortcake Way and White Spruce Road.

According to the notice, "These repairs will strengthen reliability and help avoid unplanned interruptions in the future."
