Empty Nesters Now Seek Adventure
Was a day when kids went off to college and parents sat and cried, these days…not so much. Seems this age has ushered in a new kind of empty nester they are calling the ‘escaping nester’
In a new survey over 60% favor hitting the road to pursue their travel dreams once the responsibility of kids has moved on. Many citing excitement at the prospect of doing what they had dreamed before they had children.
Even more impressive a resounding 90% of these over 50s feel that now is the time to visit their dream destinations whilst they are still fit and healthy
The respondents to this survey gave wish list destinations as:

- Norway Northern Lights
- Galapagos Islands
- Alaska. Japan
- Croatia, India
- Cambodia
- Baltic States
