Good Shepard’s Mobile Food Truck To Distribute This Thursday In Dover-Foxcroft [INFO]

The Good Shepard Food-Bank's mobile food truck will be stopping in town and providing donated food to anyone who needs it.

This Thursday, between 4:30 and 6PM, the truck will be located at 1207 West Main Street in Dover-Foxcroft, and the event is open to anyone in the region who needs assistance feeding themselves or their family, according to the folks at the Dover-Foxcroft Area Food Cupboard.

The donated food for the Dover-Foxroft area is provided by a grant from Good Shepard. Federal Distributors, the Maine Credit Union League, and the Kraft Foundation have all donated funds to the program.

According to the Good Shepherd Food Bank’s website, the food mobile program allows them to expand their outreach to Maine’s neediest and most undeserved families."  The Food Truck delivers a mix of frozen, refrigerated, and dry grocery goods.
