The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of a man who died when his vehicle overturned in Lakeville and became partially submerged in water.

Chief Deputy William Sheehan said in a press release that deputies investigated the crash Sunday. 66-year-old Ronald Bradford of Lakeville was last seen on Saturday night at around 10:30, heading home from a day of ice fishing. The Sheriff's Office was notified after Bradford failed to arrive home.

On Sunday, his pickup was found upside down in a stream off of the Lakeville Shores Road in Lakeville. Bradford was found deceased inside the vehicle. Sheehan says Bradford's body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Augusta.

The crash is being investigated by Detective William Flagg of the Criminal Investigative Division of the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office. The Penobscot County S.O. was assisted on scene by the Maine Warden Service and the Springfield Fire Department.
