More often than not, you'll drive across a bridge and not give it a second thought.  But, it's our job to make you nervous.

Have you ever wondered if what's under your wheels is "structurally deficient?"  Well wonder no more!  A group called Transportation of America has developed an interactive graphic to answer your questions!  Click HERE!

Now to make you feel just a little bit better, when a bridge is labeled "structurally deficient" it doesn't mean that you're gonna be dead meat the next time you try to cross, it just means that the Feds have given it a rating of 4 or less on a scale of 9.

Three concerns come into view when the Feds give a bridge a rating:  The surface, the substructure that supports the deck, and whatever is supporting the substructure in the ground.

Happy motoring!
