The Maine Science Festival isn't just for the young. Fact is this free event which goes on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in various locations around Bangor will explore not only the wonders of science but some of the myths that plague us in today's culture.

The festivities Maine Science Festival begin at the Sea Dog Restaurant Thursday evening from 7:30 pm - 9:30 called Science On Tap. Amy Blackstone and Kristen Brown will head up the kick off this year’s MSF by busting some of the myths surrounding GMOs, and people who chose to be child-free. Recommended Audience: 21+ Free Event.  And that is just the tip of the iceberg.  Over the weekend they will cover everything from wireless networks and computers to 3D printers, robotics and green energy.  Much of topics discussed and experiences hands on. This is a great chance to see first hand how science impacts your daily life and choices.
