Mainers Take to the High Seas in New Season of ‘Wicked Tuna’

The show has fished in Maine waters, but now we have some Mainers joining the quest for Blue Fin Tuna.

The National Geographic show Wicked Tuna enters its fifth season tonight. Crews of fishermen take to the Atlantic Ocean to reel in big fish, for big bucks. One crew from Portland is joining the show this season. They have the other Captains attention as a force to be reckoned with!

Captain Pete Speeches and his daughter Erin competed on the show which was taped over the summer of 2015. Their boat is the Erin & Sarah, named after Pete's daughters. Erin Speeches is the only female angler on the show. You go girl! Also on the crew is First Mate Brandon Pierce.

Season 5 of Wicked Tuna kicks of tonight on the National Geographic channel at 9PM.
