Max Is The SPCA Of Hancock County Pet Of The Week

Meet Max, a one year old Shepherd/Boxer mix!  He is fawn colored with white on his neck and chest, with some black around his muzzle.  Max is a very friendly and playful boy!

He enjoys children but because he is strong and has a lot of exuberance, he would probably do best with older children only. Max also likes other dogs, although we are unsure how he would be with cats.  Max is very smart and is easily trained using treats.  He is also quite agile and jumps so high that his caretakers joke that he is part kangaroo!  This sweet boy will do best with an active family due to his very high energy level.

Max is really looking forward to finding his furever home soon.  Please stop by the shelter to visit with Max or any of the other wonderful dogs and cats available for adoption.  Max is excited to meet you!
