I love my house. Even if it's only 1/4 of the size of this one.

I have a modest little ranch that suits me just fine. It's just me and my wife and my dog. We have way more rom than we probably even need, but I guess it's nice to be able to spread out. Besides, I have to have room for all my drum stuff and my studio. As far as the rest of the place, that's my wife's house, hahaha.

If you live in the Bangor area and were looking for a place to truly spread out, we showed you this spot last year, that was originally listed for almost $2 million. But lets be real, it's a gorgeous estate. It's looks more like it should be in an episode of Dallas or something.

This house now holds a new record, all unto itself.

This house was originally listed by Louie Morrison of NextHome Experience last year. Recently, it finally sold. Obviously, the right person (and bank account) had to come around to make this a reality. But don't be fooled... despite taking the time to find the right owner, the owner got darn near the asking price. Originally that was $1.8 million, and the final sale fetched $1.6 million.

As such, this house now has the distinction of being the most expensive home sold ever, in Penobscot County. Louis had put up a fantastic post on his Facebook page about it, and he verified in an email exchange that it beat the previous record by almost $200,000, set back in 2011.

Luckily, I still had the photos kicking around, taken by Connor Griffin from No Limits Photography. So let's take a peek inside and a get a feel for what this stunning monster flows like. It's amazing...
