Some people are afraid of adopting old dogs like Sadie, but everyone and everything needs a home.

She’s a 12-year-old terrier with hypothyroidism and a chubby belly. But just take one look at her smiling face, and you will fall in love with this laid back girl. Her golden years are as golden as she is, and we know she has plenty of life and love left in her to give.

While she may not have a ton of experience with other pups or cats, she’s fine with older kids, and she would love a home that give her plenty of brief walks to keep that heart pumping and maybe help her lose a few pounds.

Sadie is super sweet and easygoing and would make a great companion for someone during these troubling times!

Call the SPCA shelter at (207) 667-8088 to schedule a meeting!

The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption. It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. Donations are always accepted. They will take your returnable bottles as a donation, so please drop them off!

Email them at info@spcahancockcounty.org. Follow them on Facebook and check out the website, too.
