This past Sunday night at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota, a Journey tribute band was playing and they had a surprise guest join them onstage.

For the first time in almost 20 years, Steve Perry, the original lead vocalist of Journey sang a song from the famous band's catalog. He was there to see the Eels play and was invited up onstage to sing a couple of songs!

Perry sang "Open Arms" and "Lovin' Touchin', Squeezin", and you can hear the crowd was definitely into what they were hearing.

Steve Perry left Journey  back in 1998 when he claimed that he was "burnt out" performing with the band.
