Just walking outside during the storm this week was a treacherous winter adventure. The trees were heavy with ice and the streets were covered with a layer of mashed potato sleet, rain, and snow.

The storm caused more than just commuter inconvenience and school cancellations. The high winds and stormy weather created some impressive ocean activity. Check out these impressive waves and crashing seas at some of Maine's most iconic oceanside destinations.
