Hirundo Wildlife Refuge is such a gem to our area. So many trails and beautiful waterways to traverse. And in the Month of August you'll have two wonderful chances to experience the refuge at its most beautiful. No canoe? No problem that have everything you need to participate including canoes, kayaks and life jackets.

The first event coming up is on Wednesday August 14th from 7:15 to 9:15 in the evening for a full moon paddle. Tickets range from $5.00 - $15.00 depending on your age and needs.

Next on Saturday August 24th at 6 PM is a sunset paddle that you can see from the picture is a beauty to behold. Ticket prices are the same.

Seating is limited so they encourage people to purchase their tickets ahead of the events. Both paddles with Hirundo Wildlife Refuge start by meeting at 35 Hudson Road, Gate 3, in Old Town.
