Needless to say you’ll probably never be able to keep you or someone you love from driving tired and research shows it can be as dangerous as driving under the influence.

Vigo to the rescue.  Students from the University of Pennsylvania have created a device that tracks your patterns and give you a gentle nudge when it feels you nodding.

This little gadget is the first of it’s kind and claims quantify alertness and then send a vibration alert to keep someone awake, or even give them advice when to take a break even when your brain is trying to tell you you’re fine..

So whether you need to stay alert to drive or go to a movie this new device may just be the ticket.
