Portland is in for a treat when this super-duo takes the stage.

Back in 1981 Brad Whitford had some downtime while Aerosmith took a hiatus. He took to the studio with Ted Nugent's singer-guitarist Derek St. Holmes. The self-titled album received critical acclaim so they took the show on the road for a successful round of tour dates.

Now 35 years later they're back at it. Their new very guitar-heavy album Reunion dropped last week. They're also taking their tunes to the big stage with Whitesnake this summer!

Look for Whitford/St. Holmes opening for Whitesnake June 26 on the State Pier in Portland.
