Who Would You Choose As Your Lead Vocalist? [POLL]

If you were to build a band from scratch, who would you select as the lead vocalist?

Van Halen opened the Billboard Music Awards last night, and while watching David Lee Roth try to sing Panama, I thought of some of the other great lead vocalists and showmen in rock music.

In their prime, who do you think was the best?

Freddie Mercury of Queen was a great vocalist and showman, Paul Rodgers of Bad Company may have the smoothest voice, there was ringleader Ronnie Van Zandt of Lynyrd Skynyrd and of course the great ones like Mick Jagger and Jim Morrison.
