Wiscasset Police have charged two people in connection with the seizure of illegal drugs and guns.

Wiscasset, Maine Police Arrest 2 During a Drug Investigation at 2 Homes

Both suspects in this case face multiple charges.

Dustan Barnes, 37, of Wiscasset, is charged with:

  • Possession of a firearm by a prohibited person
  • Aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs
  • Unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs
  • 6 counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

Ronald Gonyou, 53, of Wiscasset is charged with:

  • 2 counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs
  • Unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs.

Drugs seized in this investigation include cocaine, cocaine base, Adderall, Psilocybin, and Oxycodone.

These charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at two residences located at 263 Pooler Pit Road and 123 Lowelltown Road.

The Lowelltown Road search resulted in the seizure of evidence consistent with illegal drug trafficking and firearms violations.

  • Cash
  • Tools
  • Firearm accessories

A subsequent search of the Pooler Pit Road locations resulted in the discovery of additional illegal drugs.

This case remains under investigation.
