But many have wondered if and when the beach would open back up to the public...The new owners took to their Facebook page this week to directly address those inquiries, saying that they are also eager to have all the renovations complete. But the answers they gave have left many still wondering.

Unfortunately, despite all the work the new owners of Jenkins Beach have put into the place over the last year, they announced they would not be opening this summer.

Among some of the renovations being made this year, were significant upgrades to the camps: structural work, new furniture, and the addition of Internet to the camps.
