Another Bangor Police officer has retired after many years of service to the city!  Officer Chris Stevens previously spent 10 years with the Bar Harbor PD,  before joining up with Bangor in 1988. He began his career in law enforcement as a Military police officer with the U.S. Army back in 1978.

According to a press release from the Bangor PD, Officer Stevens spent time as one of Bangor's DARE officers, as a School Resource Officer and part of the Criminal Investigative Division.  He also work numerous years as part of the Department's detail at Bangor International Airport.

He expressed his gratitude for being fortunate enough to be involved with so many different divisions of the Bangor Police Department.  We  express our gratitude to Officer Stevens for his many years of service to the City and for keeping us all safe!
