Robert Burton Still At Large Despite Confirmed Sighting

State Police and Piscataquis County Sheriff's Deputies have scaled back the search for Robert Burton until morning. On Monday afternoon, police acted on only the second confirmed sighting of Burton since he vanished into the woods. The search will continue in the morning.

A judge today found Christopher Saenz guilty of depraved indifference murder for the beating death of his wife on Christmas Day, 2013. The couple's two children, ages 8 and 12 at the time, were sent to a neighbor's on the day their mother died.

The State Police say the three people whose bodies were found in two separate homes on Saturday were all family members. The cause of death for the man and his parents, who lived in Boothbay Harbor, has not yet been released.

A vehicle driven by an 80-year-old man struck a person in a wheelchair while they were both leaving a 4th of July fireworks display. When police tried to question the driver, he attempted to drive away, with several pedestrians in front of his vehicle.
