Brewer Police Searched His Vehicle After Learning He Was Out On Bail

The charges stem from an incident that happened in May 2022. According to the United States Attorney's Office, District of Maine, Brewer Police responded to a call for service and found Henry sitting in a parked vehicle. They checked his record and found that he had an active warrant for his arrest and active bail conditions, which stemmed from a state charge. Those bail conditions prohibited him from using or possessing any alcohol or illegal drugs.

The Search of the Vehicle in Brewer Resulted in Drug and Firearm Seizures

At this point, the officers conducted a bail check to ensure Henry was compliant. They searched the vehicle and located more than 400 grams of fentanyl, as well as approximately 30 grams of cocaine base. 2 milligrams of fentanyl is considered a lethal dose, so the 400 grams seized in this incident alone could potentially have killed 200,000 people. In addition to the drugs, police also found a firearm that Henry was prohibited from possessing due to a previous 2013 state conviction.
