Hampden Academy Chamber Singers Will Perform with Foreigner at Bangor Show

The legendary rock band Foreigner comes to Bangor on Aug. 3, 2024, and they've asked us here at Bangor's Classic Rock Station to help them out.

The band sought a Bangor-area high school choir to join them on stage to sing the classic "I Want to Know What Love Is."

We received your entries, and we have a winner!

Congratulations to Hampden Academy! The choir, directed by Molly Priest, will perform with the band at Maine Savings Amphitheater on the Bangor waterfront.

The band was impressed with the school's entry, which you can see below.

Additionally, Hampden Academy will receive a $500 donation from the band for the choir program.

You may recall Hermon High School was selected in 2014 to join Foreigner on stage at the Bangor Waterfront.
