The legendary rock band Foreigner comes to Bangor on Aug. 3, 2024, and they've asked us here at Bangor's Classic Rock Station to help them out.

The band is looking for a Bangor area high school (or youth) choir to join them on stage to sing the classic "I Want to Know What Love Is."

Here's how to enter. We are looking for a video of your choir singing any Foreigner song. It can be the whole song or just a snippet.  You can submit a link to your school's video anytime between now and April 30 using the form below.

On May 13, we will announce the winning choir which will perform the classic Foreigner song, "I Want to Know What Love Is" with the band on the Maine Savings Amphitheater stage.  Additionally, the winning choir will receive a $500 donation for the choir program.

You may recall Hermon High School was selected in 2014 to join Foreigner on stage at the Bangor Waterfront.

Your choir must be no more than 25 kids and have no more than two adult chaperones for the show.

Complimentary parking and concert tickets will be provided to the winning choir and their chaperones so that they can watch the concert up until the kids sing with the band.

Which lucky choir will we see on stage at the Bangor waterfront?  You decide, Bangor! Good luck to all the choirs that submit!
