This rendition of the Superman story comes to us from the mind of the screen writer that took Tim Burtons Batman and turned him into the Dark Knight.
This rendition The story mirrors the first superman with Christopher Reeves from his beginnings where his planet self-destructs and his biological parents choose to send him to earth. Found by the Kents, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, and brought up as their own, keeping from him his origins and special nature. This movie covers the gamut of his young life from his discovery of who he is to the decision of what that means for him as an earth resident and trying figure out where he fits into this world of weaker beings. During this struggle other escapees of Krypton bust onto the screan to claim earth.

To start with Warner Bros. spared no expense on their actors for this new spin in and of itself changing the feel of the movie. “Man of Steel,”stars Henry Cavill along with also stars four-time Oscar® nominee Amy Adams (“The Master”), Oscar® nominee Michael Shannon (“Revolutionary Road”), Academy Award® winner Kevin Costner (“Dances with Wolves”), Oscar® nominee Diane Lane (“Unfaithful”), Oscar® nominee Laurence Fishburne (“What’s Love Got to Do with It”), Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, and Academy Award® winner Russell Crowe (“Gladiator”).
