Free E-Waste Event This Saturday In Ellsworth

Want to get rid of that old computer and it's monitor legally and free of charge?  Here's your chance!

Drop off your E-waste this Saturday between 7a.m. and noon at Home Depot in Ellsworth!  The yearly event is organized by the Noontime Rotary Club of Ellsworth.

Computers, monitors, TVs, CD/DVD players, printers, microwave ovens, digital picture frames, fax machines, cell phones, photocopiers, lead acid batteries, computer and network equipment, ballast and mercury devices will all be accepted.

There is no charge to drop this stuff off, although a donation to the Rotary would be appreciated! Just look for the Rotary members who'll wearing orange!

Everything will be carted off and re-cycled by Electronics End, a business located in Brewer and approved by the Department of Environmental Protection.
