Tonight’s mystery artists are self-described good ole boys characterized by having the fastest cars, prettiest women, meanest dogs, biggest smiles, tell the best jokes and the biggest lies. Can you guess who these good ole boys might be??

The interviewer that brought this to light was British host Andy Kershaw back in the late 80. The band giving the interesting self-description were the guys from ZZ Top. According to the band mates most of their attributes good and bad come from being from Texas where folks demand to go their own way. Frank Beard went on to say he’d rather be in Texas than anywhere else.
