Tonight's Mystery have a song that at the time it was written about one girl the song writer was in a relationship with another causing the band to get a bit antsy every time they would sing it in front of his girl friend.  Can you guess the song or the band??

This uncomfortable truth came to light in an interview between Patrick Netter of iBoomer and Bertie Averre of  The Knack about the song My Sharona.  As Bertie tells it Doug Fieger who co –wrote the song had a thing for a girl they knew named Sharona when he wrote the song even though he had a girlfriend named Judy.  Therefore every time Doug would sing the song with such passion they’d be like tone it down Judy is in the next room. Awkward! Another interesting little fact that Patrick brought to light in the interview was that the record ‘ Get The Knack’  was the biggest seller for Capitol records since ‘Meet The Beatles’ quite a feather in their cap.
