Tonight’s mystery artist after many years of alcoholism and the breakup of the band he was in, his sobriety came when they wanted to get back together but with the stipulation that he would have to stop drinking , so he did. Any guess who he might be??

We’ll start with the band, that would be the Eagles and the member put to task was Joe Walsh. In an interview with ‘60 Minutes’ Walsh told how at the height of their popularity often times they would stay up 24 hour and then go and play another venue. His favorite little mother’s helper was cocaine, vodka and camel lights. He added that when the band broke up it wasn’t really a break up, the ‘Eagles’ product had turned into something that was eating them alive and they just needed to stop. Then in the 80s when the band thought of regrouping and they wanted Joe to be a part of the group again they told him he’d have to be sober. And the rest is history.

Regardless of drinking and being on his own he never stopped performing or writing and tonight’s featured song is one of his biggest solo hits. ‘All Night Long’
