I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artists say what draws people to loud rock and roll is feeling the beat right in their gut. Any guess who they might be??

I found this interesting quote in an interview on 30 minutes with Blue Oyster Cult from back in 2007. Funny how during that time they were the subject of several news stories about rock and roll causing hearing loss.  In one even a member of the band is tested and shows some loss.  In this story they call out the electric guitar as being the worst offender because its high frequency sounds are known to damage the nerves of the ear. When asked why they need all the cannons, fireworks and amplification? Their response , “because we’re crazy”.
