Tonight’s mystery artists took the name of their band from a book about the drug mescaline. Think you know who they are??

Mescaline natural with the same basic effects of LSD. Interesting to add too, that the original user of said quote would eventually die from the use of the same kind of drug, according to song facts. The narrative was called, ‘The Doors of Perception’ by Aldous Huxley. The quote from which he titled the narrative about the drug was originally from William Blake who said, "If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite." It was from exposure to Huxley's narrative that The Doors  would chose their moniker. As for Huxley on November 22 1963 he went on an acid trip and never returned.
