I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist’s first hit was referred to as an “absurd anthem of wretched excess” Can you guess the song or the band??

I found this description on Wikipedia about the first hit off the album ‘The Tubes’ by The Tubes called “White Punks on Dope”. Along with the “excess” comment they add that is was a tribute to their teenage fan base in San Francisco.  Add to that the song was covered by the most excessive band on the planet Motley Crue, and I’m thinking the description can’t be that far off.

Tonight’s features song was the second hit from that album ‘She’s A Beauty’
