Tonight’s mystery artist credits one of his biggest hit as being inspired by Phil Everly of the Everly Brothers.  Think you know the song or artist??

I found this little known fact on BuzzFeed about the Warren Zevon song ‘Werewolves of London’

Turns out that back in the 70s Warren and his wife were living in Phil’s guest house. At the time he was working on a solo album when Phil Everly asked him to write a song for the Everly Brothers. He wnet on to ask why don’t you write a dance song like Werewolves of London. Warren says he was like’ Okaaaay’ So they started working on the song when somebody asked what they were doing and they replied writing ‘Werewolves of London’ to which he answered you mean 'Aah-Ooh Werewolves of London? According to Zevon the song was then finished in 20 minutes. And entirely credits the instigation of the song to Phil Everly.
