I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist was the lead singer of a very successful band and yet when he left to form a new band where he wound up giving the lead singer position to someone else.  Any idea the band he left or created and who he might be??

I found this little known fact on the Axs page about Steve Perry leaving Journey in 1987. He would go on a solo project with his own band that he would eventually leave as well but not before naming them Bad English and putting John Waite in the lead singer position. Two years later they had their first hit with “When I see you smile”. Bad English did re-unite with Steve Perry in 1991 for a tribute concert but then Steve would head out again to continue his solo career. Bad English was not the only time he would reunite with former bands. He returned in 1996 to record an album with Journey.
