Tonight’s mystery artists participated in a show that has been nominated for 12 of Broadway’s Tony Awards. Think you know these rockers are or what they did that was so fantastic??

Give you a hint, the star of this show lives under the sea with an odd arrangement of friends. If you guessed Sponge Bob you have the first part right.  Now for our rocking star fish, that would be Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry who wrote some of the songs in the show along with a host of other musicians. "Sponge Bob Square Pants" and "Mean Girls" are leading the pack this year for Tony Awards nominations. The musicals scored 12 nods each.

The award our bad boys from Boston are up for would be Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre, best book and best musical. They are up against:
--"Angels in America," Adrian Sutton
--"The Band's Visit," David Yazbek
--"Frozen," Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez
--"Mean Girls," Jeff Richmond and Nell Benjamin
--"SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical," Music & Lyrics: Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler & Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, Lady Antebellum, Cyndi Lauper & Rob Hyman, John Legend, Panic! at the Disco, Plain White T's, They Might Be Giants, T.I., and Domani & Lil'C

Quite a crowd, we wish them the best of luck on June 10th when the awards will be handed out.

Here they are with tonight's featured song.
