Tonight’s mystery artist were opening for the Rolling Stones in 1976 and managed to break Mick’s biggest rule making him totally furious. Think you know who they are or can you guess what they did??

Rolling Stone tells the story of when Lynyrd Skynyrd was opening for the Stones in the UK back in 1976. The way they tell it is the band got a bit stoned before taking the stage and got a bit expansive as they were finishing up their set. That is when Ronnie Van Zant encouraged his guitarist to take his big solo down the extended ramp, which designed specifically for the Stones was in the shape of a giant tongue of course. This was a huge no-no.  As Gary Rossington tells of Mick’s reaction:

"Mick Jagger was mad," it took their breath away to see how well we went over and how we broke their only rule: don't go out on the tongue."

Here they are with tonight's featured song.
