I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist appeared in a Cinemax special featuring great guitarists including B.B. King, Eddie Van Halen and David Gilmour.  Think you remember the special or know who is missing??

The special was filmed back in 1988 and a real hint to who is missing is the fact that Les Paul handpicked the guitarists. So as you might have guessed the missing player is Les’ godson Steve Miller. The story goes that the Cinemax special with Steve Miller, B.B. King, David Gilmour, and Eddie Van Halen was the first live performance by Steve Miller in five years.  Available below on video link under the title ‘Les Paul and Friends: He Changed the Music’. After the show, Steve attended a Pink Floyd concert at the request of Gilmour and that is when he is said to have decided it was time to hit the road again.
