I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist was has been in two successful bands and recently in his current band cut an album of songs from his prior band.  Can you guess the bands or artist??

The former band was Deep Purple and the former member is David Coverdale currently with his band Whitesnake. Their latest album release in May of this year is called The Purple Album.

In a press release about the record, Coverdale summarized the experience, saying that, “Even though we’re playing songs I recorded with Purple over 40 years ago, it has all the classic Whitesnake elements people who support us have come to expect. I thought it would be cool to go out, as it were, the way I came in to this music business.”
