Normally a dog isn't very convenient when one's sitting on the throne.  That's usually the point where a canine spots the mailman walking by and starts to go off.

But here's a good Maine dog that is actually helpful when one is in a time of need, if you know what I mean.

We've all sat down on the John to cherish the most enjoyable part of the day, only to find out when finished that the toilet paper roll is empty. Oh nooooo Mr. Bill!

Here's Beck, a 4 year-old shelter dog from Portland, who can instantly help his owner in a time of need.  Watch Beck come to the rescue and find a roll of toilet paper, he even delivers it, but that's as far as he'll go.

Beck belongs to trainer Nancy Freedman-Smith of Gooddogz Training in Portland, and according to the post on You Tube, Nancy was dressed in the filming of this video.

Yes, Beck is very accommodating!  But, can he light a match?
