Netflix And Fitbit Device Pauses Show If You Fall Asleep

Everyone has nodded off in front of a movie that were looking forward to watching, only to miss the ending. This annoying problem could be a thing of the past. A team of hackers have proved that it is possible to use data to determine if a viewer is asleep and pause a film on Netflix automatically.

A simple Fitbit bracelet can monitor you while watching the movie and it can tell the difference between someone resting and sleeping. If you fall asleep, the device confirms your inactivity and tells the laptop or TV to pause the movie or program. When you wake up, you can pick up right where you left off.
