Paul McCartney Pops Into Vermont General Store For Dinner

This past Sunday, rock and roll royalty made a surprise visit to a little general store in Peru, Vermont!

Sir Paul McCartney and his wife, Nancy Shevell, along with two other couples spent an afternoon skiing at nearby Bromley Mountain Ski Resort. The group then decided to stop by the J.J. Hapgood General Store & Eatery for dinner.

Juliette Britton, the surprised store's owner, said the group came in around 4:30 or so and dined on margherita pizza and organic kale salad.

Britton said that she "didn't want any hoopla," so she didn't tell co-workers that the former Beatle and his party were in the dining area.

After Sir Paul was finished eating, Britton and her husband worked up the courage to ask for a picture.  The results are below.  Pretty cool!
