It's that time you've all been waiting for. It's time to decide whose regrettable tattoo will disappear behind a brand new, very cool tattoo!

We had lots of submissions from all over the place, but we narrowed it down to 10 contestants. WARNING: Some may be a little racy.

More importantly, one of these contestants will win a $500 cover-up from Diversified Ink, and it's up to you!

Here's how it will work. You may vote below as many times as you like for as many tattoos as you like up until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30. We'll announce the winner on Wednesday.

Good luck everyone! We look forward to seeing the new tattoo!

    Sad Little Dragon

    Submitted by Dan Clancy

"This is a matching tattoo I got back in 1995 with my now ex-wife. We were both born in 1976 (the year of the dragon in the Chinese calendar) and both held a black belt in Isshin-Ryu Karate, a style that uses the dragon as one of its symbols. Since we both taught karate and shared the same birth year it seemed like a good idea to get matching dragoon tattoos. She cheated on me with a co-worker and I divorced her in 1999. As you can probably imagine I can’t stand looking at it and would dearly love to cover it up. I was thinking of something Celtic or Irish to replace my sad little dragon.
    Thank you for your time!
    I-95 ROCKS!!!!!"

    Rebellious Ladybug

    Submitted by Krissie Ford

"This tattoo is AWFUL! I was in a little bit of a rebellious phase when I was 19. My mom said to me one day "you don't have the guts to get a tattoo!" So what did I do? I went out and had this super bad ass hot pink heart shaped lady bug tattooed on my back. I hate it. I'd love to cover it with something more meaningful, something in honor of my two little girls."

    Forever Young

    Submitted by Cassie Floyd

"I have couple tattoos I regret getting when I was younger. This was supposed to say "forever young" with a sparrow flying off to the side to represent my personality and how i never wanted to grow up. But i hate seeing this one everyday. I would love to have it covered with something I would enjoy seeing everyday. It is nothing like I pictured it would be and I have been stuck with it for a couple years now."

    Submitted by Mandy Furrow

"It was my very first tattoo. I was 18 when I got it, it is supposed to say my name. But now I think it says "Pumpkin Snatcher" Plus, the guy that did it pounded the crap outta my skin :( Also, I hate it so bad, I can't wear a bikini top without it showing and people asking me what it says."

    Mangled Mess

    Submitted by Ryan Orcutt

"I thought the tattooist could design what I wanted but in my first sitting this is what I was left with. I knew that if I let him get near it again that I would only be asking for an even bigger catastrophe. I was furious with my Mom for even suggesting to give this guy a chance. Its been over 10 years and this tattoo cost me from getting a higher paying job. It is an eyesore and I have learned my lesson from going to someone who did not have actual place of business. I have never been able to afford the money it would take to have this covered with something I could be proud of. This tat made my mom sad because she was the one that talked me in to giving this guy a try. She had no idea that he was going to mangle the job and leave me a permanent mess and if she could afford to have it fixed she would have already paid for it. Please help me to make me happy and to make my mom h appy because my mom doesn't have a long time left on this earth ( she has been diagnosed with a terminal disease ) and has always wanted to see it fixed. This is all true and we can prove it."

    Nike Neck

    Submitted by Jennifer Perry

"Well I got it done 2012,wanted to get a couple of little stars to an additional tattoo a friend of a friend knew someone they said he was good but hadn't seen any of his work. we all had drinks beforehand including the artist, which is apparently not a good idea. This tattoo has ruined the outlook I have of myself tremendously! What do you think it's supposed to be? I think he was going for a shooting star, but all I see is a NIKE symbol! PLEASE pick me."

    Tall Cupcake

    Submitted by Anne Soucier

"It started as a cute cupcake concept.. that just didn't come together the way I was hoping. It's located on my back so it was hard to see when the outline was stenciled on. It's not proportionate at all, and the cherry actually looks white! Cupcakes are usually short and plump (like me!), not tall and skinny. I would LOVE to get a cover up, something I would feel confident to show off! Please help my cupcake catastrophe! I love the colors and idea of this tattoo, it just clearly isn't working in more than one way. "
