This wonderful musician came home from school one day and said, "Mom, I want to play the violin", and soon after he was.

Gus LaCasse, a 15-year-old classically trained violinist and inspired fiddler with a love for the traditional Cape Breton and Acadian genres, will perform at the Union River Harbor Park and Marina this Friday, August 18th, at 6 pm,  as part of the annual Free Summer Waterfront Concerts for 2017!

As a featured performer at the 13th Annual Boston Celtic Music Festival in January 2016, Gus was honored and humbled to take the legendary Club Passim stage. Gus performs as a solo artist and with the Young Tradition Vermont Touring Group.

The show starts at 6 and admission is FREE!  Bring a lawn chair and your friends!

The annual free Summer Waterfront Concerts presented by The Grand and sponsored by the City of Ellsworth on Fridays at 6pm (rain or shine!) will continue through Friday August 25th.
