Volunteers Wanted To Help Clean Up Downtown Bangor

This Saturday the Downtown Bangor Partnership is looking for volunteers to help pick up trash and starting to hang the lights for the Holidays. They are asking those willing to help out to bring your rakes, gloves, and love for downtown Bangor to Norumbega Park around 9 a.m. to help the Downtown Bangor Partnership give downtown its quarterly makeover. They assure us any level of assistance is welcome, from all day or for just a few hours—every minute of your time makes a difference!  There will also be something to do for all ages, again, from hanging the winter lights to cleaning up trash and debris throughout downtown. Snacks and beverages will be provided for everyone lending a hand. Rain date is Sunday, October 19.
