Winterport Man Suffers Minor Injuries in Accident

Waldo County dispatch got a call just after 9 AM Tuesday from a passerby reporting a truck off the road and a man trapped inside the vehicle. 

Winterport Fire and ambulance responded to the accident where it appeared the truck went through an intersection on the Marsh Stream Road in Winterport, left the roadway, and struck a tree. The driver, Colby Gardner (35) of Winterport, was extricated from vehicle and transported to EMMC with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident is currently under investigation.
