Police say a pair of accidents on Interstate 95 in Pittsfield Monday evening appeared to be the result of road rage.

WABI-TV reports it all started with what appeared to be some road rage going on in front of a military convoy, as a driver ahead of the southbound Massachusetts National Guard vehicles did a 'brake check' at around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The driver of a military fuel tanker tried to avoid hitting the vehicle and ended up driving the rig through a guardrail and down an embankment before it rolled over. The two men in the tanker were not hurt in the crash.

The accident stopped traffic on the interstate, which caused a second accident. A truck hauling hay didn't notice the vehicles stopped in front of him and slammed into the back of a tractor trailer. That forced the semi into the back of another truck that was towing a trailer.  Officials say the driver of the hay truck was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say no charges will be filed.
