What a long strange trip it has been!

Back in time, the Alfond Arena on the University of Maine campus hosted some pretty big bands, and one of those was the Grateful Dead on this date, April 19th, in 1983.

We stumbled across a pair of original tickets to the show via Facebook.  Look how cheap they were compared to today's prices!

Yes, Jerry Garcia and company played for well over two hours, breaking they show into two different sets like they normally would. The following data was taken from Setlist.com:

04/19/83 (Tue)  University of Maine - Alfond Arena - Orono, ME
Set 1: Jack Straw, Friend Of The Devil > It's All Over Now, Dire Wolf > Big River, Dupree's Diamond Blues, On The Road Again, West L.A. Fadeaway, Lazy Lightning > Supplication > Might As Well

Set 2: Sugaree > Samson & Delilah, He's Gone > Drums > Spanish Jam > Truckin' > Wharf Rat > Around and Around > Good Lovin', E: U.S. Blues
