Bangor Area Under Winter Weather Advisory As Messy Weather Nears

The next winter storm will bring snow and freezing rain to the area.

The National Weather Service in Caribou is calling for snow and mixed precipitation for the Bangor area overnight Monday, into Tuesday. The area will be under a Winter Weather Advisory from 10PM Monday, until 4PM Tuesday.

The Bangor area can expect about three inches of snow, before it changes over to rain and freezing rain. Aroostook County can expect 9 to 13 inches of snow.

Tuesday will feature mostly rain, heavy at times, throughout the day.

Travel could be hazardous at times, with reduced visibility.
