Bangor Band To Hold Holiday Concert At Peaks Auditorium This Weekend
If it's holiday music you're looking for to get you in the spirit for the season, you're in luck!
Aside from all the other Holiday Happenings in Downtown Bangor, there will also be a holiday concert on Saturday.
Under the direction of Principal Conductor Dr. Philp Edelman and Associate Conductor Scott Burditt will lead the Bangor Band in a Christmas Concert Saturday.
The event is set to take place at Peaks Auditorium at the Bangor High School at 1 PM.
There's no admission, but they will happily accept donations.
The Bangor Band's Set List for the Christmas Concert will include a number of holiday classics the entire family can enjoy. You can expect music from The Grinch, to Charlie Brown's Christmas to Babe's In Toyland, and many more traditional Christmas tunes.
The concert officially starts at 1 PM, but if you wanted to arrive early, there will be another opportunity to take in some live holiday music, from 12:15 PM to 1 PM.
The local saxophone quartet "Prevailing Winds" will be playing some holiday tunes in the Bangor High School Lobby as folks arrive.
The event is sponsored by the Bangor Parks and Rec Department.
