When it was announced that Damon’s Beverage was going to move to Hogan Road next to the old K Mart Building, the thought was it was going to be last Fall.
But wisely, Damon’s Beverage didn’t cause confusion on what must be their busiest season. The fall leading up to the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

Now is the time to move.

Damon’s Beverage and Redemption announced over the weekend that they will be moving from the Washington Street location to the Hogan Road location next week.

The current location closes on February 28.

It’s always exciting when businesses expand and grow.

Manager Dave Makson told us:

We are able to double in size of our retail space, quadruple the space of our current redemption center and go from 13 parking spots to 300.

That is a lot of extra parking, and what happens with double the size inside the new store?

We will be expanding selection, with the largest expansion in our wine and beer sections.

. Here’s the sign that went up on the new location building on Friday.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
