Bangor Firefighter’s Fill The Boot Campaign To Raise Funds For MDA

This Friday, tomorrow, Bangor Firefighter's will be set up at the intersection of Bangor Mall Boulevard and Hogan Road between 8am and 12 noon, trying to collect funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association!

Friday of course is Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, and this is a great opportunity for the firefighters!

Firefighter Ryan Blanchette said in a press release, that their "Fill The Boot" campaign for MDA is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the firefighters.  Last year Black Friday shoppers made the Bangor Fire Department the top MDA Fire Department fundraiser in Maine!

So, look for our brave firefighters (yes they must be brave to stand in that traffic at the Mall), and "fill the boot" for a great cause during your holiday shopping!
