A Bangor man is facing charges after allegedly threatening students on a soccer team.

Bangor Police Lieutenant Catherine Rumsey said in a media release that the incident happened just before 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. Officers were called to the Union Street Athletic Field to investigate a report of a man threatening members of a youth soccer team. Police say the threat involved the display of a weapon. The Bangor High School soccer club had just started their practice session when the man approached the team.
